BAHUBALI 2 THE CONCLUSION: BENGALURU HAS NO PROBLEM
PAYING DOUBLE THE TICKET PRICE TO WATCH PAID PREMIERES

If pictures tell the story, then this one is certainly going
to make producers smile. Thursday night, there were lines of patrons outside
the Mantri Mall in Bengaluru trying to catch the 10 pm show of one of the most
awaited films of the year- Bahubali 2: The Conclusion.
And it is no ordinary show. It's a paid preview where each
ticket costs double what they would shell out once the film releases on Friday.
It seems though, that double the price is certainly no dampener.
The Bahubali mania has clearly gripped not just the city but
can be felt across different cities, whether it's Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad or
Chennai.
In the national capital, ticket prices are as high as Rs
2400 per ticket, but the seats are filling up fast. There were 3 km long lines
outside a cinema hall in Hyderabad on Wednesday, with many who returned
disappointed after not getting a ticket.
In Andhra Pradesh, the govt has permitted extra shows. With
as many as 6500 screens, it's going to see one of the biggest openings for an
Indian film globally, with some shows starting as early as 5:30 am.
For all the publicity generated around the film, there is
the obvious curiosity over why Katappa killed Bahubali. The well-kept secret
will finally be revealed after a two-year long wait.
Bahubali: The Beginning made over Rs 600 crore in collections
and even before the release of part 2, many are already asking if the combined
collections will cross the 1000 crore mark. If these lines are any indication,
that target does not seem too distant to touch.

The star of Cecile B. DeMille's
1949 blockbuster "Samson and Delilah" was promoted as "the
world's most beautiful woman" during MGM's Golden Age. She was also
brilliant. Born in Vienna, Hedy Lamarr invented (with composer George Antheil)
a "frequency hopping" system originally aimed at preventing Nazis
from jamming radio-controlled torpedoes during World War II. Her invention was

'80s and '90s, but Cindy Crawford is hardly superficial. With an IQ of 154, she

story. With a reported IQ of 160, Reggie Jackson may be the smartest athlete
ever to swing a bat.

For many years Sharon Stone
maintained that, thanks to her genius-level IQ, she belonged to Mensa. Then, in
2002, the Oscar-winning actress admitted that the latter was not true. Still,
the fact that she started college at the age of 15 is certainly impressive.

David Duchovny is one of the brightest actors of the last few decades. But

today.

often associated with brainy and highly evolved people, so it's no surprise
